I don’t seem to have had any emails of the lessons. Are there replays anywhere please?

My first sexy poem was just published in Lavender Review!

I might be the only man here, but I look forward to any opportunity to learn and develop my writing. I've published poetry, but I know I still need a lot of work.

Haha you’d be surprised by how many other men are into love poems, Paul!

I would be. I've been told I've been good at writing romance before in my literary fiction. I've even been told by a few people that they were surprised I wasn't a woman. Which can be an awkward situation. But I look forward to learning from you. I have mainly been a fiction writer despite having several poems published. It is a genre worth exploring and getting to know better. I think I'll try to convince a poet I know to join as well.

So thrilled for this opportunity! But love is not my thing. It feels too big to tackle. Could I just write the sex without the love? Is that too tawdry? Empty? Am I revealing a failing here? The shallow reality of my life? Will an editor go for a quickie sometimes? Can't wait to try!

As an editor, quickies are the best, Emma haha :)

I’m wondering if one can write good love poems while being bad at love - I guess we’ll see. Looking forward to it!

A lot of good love poems are about “bad love”, so, you’re definitely onto something there!
