Congratulations, I think it is the most successful workshop system of Substack, but I don't understand one thing. If I am a paid subscriber, I will only receive by email the last workshop, and the future ones?
Couldn't I also receive by email the past workshops, instead of only having access to an archive? Basically, it is just a matter of editing the post again and resending it again. This could be done, for example, at intervals, on a fixed date (January 1 of each year, for example). As if it were cohort.
Because what if I have a question? Will the instructor still be there to answer if I see a workshop 4 months after it has been launched?
The forever workshop reminds me of diamonds or jewelry.. I’m not sure I get it but I don’t know marketing at all.. I sort of like the juxtaposition of writing and dying in your old name. Oh well. Rebranding is hard!
For sure, our main problem was not anything against the old name but because our magazine is called "Write or Die" and has it's own seminars and workshops, so having the names so closely aligned was causing confusion so we figured, hey, better now than later once the name has stuck more
My grandson will miss Write or Die. He was both horrified and tickled by that name when he found it on my notepad. (He's 9!). While we're on the subject, I'm looking for a visual. Is Chill Subs the parent "company" and everything else (Write or Die mag, Sub Club, The Forever Workshop, whatever else I'm missing) the babies? Or are we dealing with more of a multi-headed monster? (The best kind, of course.)
Hahaha aw shucks hate to let him down, the forever workshop is definitely less hard core 😅 you’ve got it exactly right, chill subs is the “parent company”which sounds alot more cooperate-y than it is cuz all of this madness is just 7 people that suck at work life balance
Ain't gonna lie: I liked "Write or Die" for its heavy-metallic edge. But I hear good things in Forever Workshop too (it's closer to the brand promise, for one thing). And honestly, what matters for me is that the concept works and y'all are delivering high quality. I've partaken of all three workshops so far in one guise or another and have found every one worth the time and money. And at least one of the presenters continued to field my questions long after the workshop had ended. Good on you all.

Thanks in advance.
Why did you rebrand🙁, write or die 101 was the best, bu
Forever workshop, nuh uh, workshop abt what? There's so many workshops going on.
Write or Die 101 is so apt and speaks agency
I know, but the confusion it was causing with our magazine was making any marketing difficult to navigate.
